About Silent Spectator

Every photograph tells a story that words often cannot.

For more than 30 years, I have quietly documented the world through my lens, capturing fleeting moments of beauty, drama, character and emotion. My photography ranges from Australian landscapes and wildlife to working dogs, people, sailing and the intensity of yacht racing.

Whether photographing the grandeur of the Australian landscape, the character of an animal, the concentration of a sailor or a fleeting human moment, my aim is to create images that invite you to pause and look a little longer.

Silent Spectator is a collection of these moments — photographs created through patience, observation, light, composition and timing.

My approach is deliberately observational. I look for the moment when the elements come together: the right light, the right expression, the interaction between subjects or the brief instant that gives an image its character.

The collection reflects more than three decades behind the camera and a continuing fascination with the world around us.
